Ganymede and the Eagle shannon koszyk bronze feet and green blownAbout the Piece 10" across, 4" wide, 8" tall This is a cast marble sculpture depicting Ganymede, a cupbearer to the greek gods, serving Zeus in the form of an eagle. The original sculpture of which this is replicating was carved by Bertel Thorvaldsen from 1817 29 and is over 3' long. It currently resides at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
